SickKids is located in downtown Toronto at 555 University Avenue, between Gerrard and Elm streets. The hospital has two main entrances – 555 University Avenue and 170 Elizabeth Street.
Arriving from the north: Exit at Queen’s Park station and walk one block south on University Avenue.
Arriving from the south, including travelling from Union Station: Exit at St. Patrick station and walk two blocks north on University Avenue.
The 505 Dundas and 506 Carlton streetcars stop at University Avenue.

SickKids is located one block north of the Toronto Coach Terminal, which is served by several bus companies.
SickKids’ automated parking garage entrance is located on Elm Street and accepts cash and credit cards at one of the pay stations located in each parking lobby when exiting.
Parking is available under the hospital. The garage entrance is located on Elm Street. The lot is automated and accepts cash and credit cards. Drivers take a ticket upon entry and pay at one of the pay stations located in each of the P1 to P4 elevator lobbies when exiting.
Construction notice: Nov. 18, 2019 to Feb. 27, 2020 -- Replacing the sprinkler system the Atrium parking garage; expect traffic delays
SickKids is upgrading the sprinkler system on the P1 level of Atrium Parking Garage.
Work started Nov. 18, 2019 with an anticipated end date of Feb. 27, 2020. Please prepare for delays entering and exiting the Atrium parking garage (the main hospital garage with entrance off of Elm St.).
During construction, families and visitors should give themselves extra time to park to ensure they are on time for appointments.
Traffic updates -- here’s what you need to know:
• Directional signage: It may change as construction continues. Please stay alert and drive slowly, as traffic flow will change as construction continues.
• Cordoned-off areas on Level P1: Do not park in these areas. They are off-limits for repair work and your safety.
• Traffic lights have been installed to indicate where to share the lane and safely manage the flow of traffic. Drivers must only proceed when it’s a green light; proceed with caution when it’s a yellow light; and come to a full stop when it’s a red light.
• Expect traffic delays: Please give yourself extra time to park to ensure you are on time for your appointments and meetings, especially if you are coming or leaving during rush hours.

• As always, when entering or exiting the garage, drivers should proceed with caution and follow the signage and lights so that the door sensors can safely open and close as needed.
Hours of work
Drivers may note that the first phase of the construction project has been completed; the ramp from P1 to P2 will return to its original configuration (estimated Jan. 7), which will ease traffic flow. Our Infrastructure Renewal team regularly reviews traffic flow configurations to help address feedback from customers and to make adjustments to help minimize disruptions wherever possible.

Parking Office at SickKids (P1 Level)
The Parking Office is located on Parking Level 1 (P1) and is open daily, including weekends and holidays, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. All pay stations also have a customer-service call button available 24 hours a day.
Street parking is available, but read the signs carefully. Do not park on nearby streets before 9:30 a.m. or between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Do not park in the Emergency driveway or in the driveways off Gerrard Street, Elizabeth Street or University Avenue. Cars will be ticketed and towed away.
Additional parking around SickKids
If you decide not to park at SickKids, there are many parking lots conveniently located around the hospital.
SickKids' Protection Services department has a 24-hour phone line at 416-813-7122. You can call this number if you would like someone to walk with you to your car. There may be a short wait while this is arranged.
For your protection, leave items of value and large amounts of cash at home, or keep them with you at all times. The hospital is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
What if I lose my parking ticket?
If you lose your parking ticket, please visit the Parking Office on Parking Level 1 (P1). The Parking Office is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. All pay stations also have a customer-service call button available 24 hours a day.
What is the maximum height clearance of the SickKids underground parking garage?
The underground garage has a maximum height clearance of 6’1.
What is an H Pass?
H Pass is a card that offers a reduced parking rate for parents of patients and their visitors. and also allows for in-and-out privileges throughout a 24-hour period. The pass can be used by parents and shared among family members and the patient’s frequent visitors. The H Pass card is available for 5, 10 or 30 uses at a cost of $10 per use.
H Pass – Single Pass
Parents purchasing 5 or 10 uses will receive 1 card that can be shared among family members and the patient’s visitors.
H Pass – Family Pass
Parents purchasing a 30-use card can request up to 5 cards at the time of purchase. Each card will be linked to the same parent account but can be used by any of the patient’s family members and visitors.
Where can I purchase an H Pass?
Parents can purchase an H Pass card in the Parking Office on Level P1 of the Atrium parking garage. The office is open 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. You will be required to present the Parking Office attendant with patient parent identification, such as a SickKids Parent ID badge/sticker or a clinic/appointment confirmation letter.
Can I purchase an H Pass after hours?
The H Pass can only be purchased during Parking Office hours. The office is on Level P1 of the garage and is open 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Can I enter and exit the parking lot as many times as I need without getting charged again?
Yes. You may enter the parking lot as many times as you like during a 24-hour period and it will count as only 1 use.
If I buy 30 uses and get 5 cards are the 30 uses shared between cards?
Yes. The 30 uses are shared between the 5 cards. Each card does not get 30 uses.
How do I check my balance?
Please visit http://hpasscustomer.preciserd.com/ to view your card balance.
What do I do if my H Pass is not working?
If your card is not working please visit the Parking Office on Level P1 of the garage.
What do I do if I lose my H Pass?
The H Pass should be treated like cash. If lost you will not be reimbursed.
Does the H Pass expire?
The uses are valid for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.
