Brief Biography

Jane is a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Paediatric Medicine – Complex Care Program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). She completed her undergraduate nursing degree (BScN) at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. She started her nursing career at SickKids in 2009 as a staff RN in the Division of Neonatology. In 2014, Jane completed her graduate nursing studies (MN/NP-Paediatrics) at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. Jane has also worked as a nurse practitioner in the NICU at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center.

Clinical Care Activities

Jane works on the Complex Care team and provides outpatient care to children with medical complexities. The focus of her work is to support children and their families by helping to coordinate their care, provide anticipatory guidance, facilitate communication between multiple sub-specialists, and to provide comprehensive, holistic care. She also plays a lead role in caring for children with medical complexities at a satellite Complex Care clinic in a community hospital in Barrie.
