Laboratory Services
The Department of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine is a world-class facility operating at the forefront of reducing the impact of childhood illness and is a valuable and integral component of the SickKids team, providing timely specialized diagnostic services and establishing diagnoses that lead to early selection of the best treatment options.
The Department of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine is composed of five divisions:
- Clinical Biochemistry
- Heamatopathology
- Microbiology
- Molecular Genetics
- Pathology
Each division provides critical services for SickKids and other health-care organizations.
