Biostatistics Design and Analysis
The BDA core facility provides consultation in the areas of study feasibility, design and methodology, statistical analysis and data management (database development and data entry). The BDA provides study planning assistance to ensure the research question can be answered from a statistical point of view, assists with statistical analysis, and advises on selection of statistical software. The BDA can also assist with all aspects of database management. Previously known as the Clinical Research Support Unit (CRSU), the BDA is mandated by the Child Health Evaluative Sciences Program to ensure the highest quality of clinical research support. Biostatistics Methodology Unit
The BMU is an interdisciplinary research unit dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of statistical methodology related to biomedical and population health research. This unit, which is the first of its kind among Canadian paediatric research institutes and children’s hospitals, is devoted to make fundamental contributions to scientific research in general and to paediatric health in particular.
