Residency

In addition to providing the six month core rotation in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Department of Psychiatry offers electives in a wide range of child and adolescent psychiatric experiences. The options for clinical opportunities vary due to supervisor availability.

PGY-3 residents may complete their required Royal College six-month rotation at SickKids. Core residents participate in a resident seminar series and in clinical teams, including the on-call service.

PGY-5 and 6 Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residents develop an individualized program with the Director of Postgraduate Education, Division of Child and Youth Mental Health.
