Empowering students: Enhancing the SickKids student experience

In 2024-2025, the Learner Hub responded to student feedback by launching Career Information and Networking events, giving future health-care professionals direct access to expert advice and real-world insights. Students connected with panelists from across the hospital, gaining practical tips on landing jobs, preparing for interviews and transitioning into staff roles at SickKids. The event’s open Q&A and networking format fostered valuable relationships with professionals and hiring managers, making it one of the year’s standout learning experiences.
