Enabling learning and celebration in spaces that connect

With the new Patient Support Centre (PSC), the SickKids Conference Centre opened for event bookings in June 2024, introducing dynamic state-of-the-art meeting, learning and collaboration spaces. The PSC and its Learning Concourse—including a scenic rooftop patio—have become central hubs for education and hosting large-scale events like the Global Network for Simulation in Healthcare (GNSH) Summit and the annual Preceptor Recognition Ceremony. These gatherings showcased the PSC’s versatility, accommodating everything from international guests to heartfelt celebrations that honour over 1,100 preceptors, all while fostering a strong sense of community and connection.
