Biography
Dr. Corry Azzopardi joined SickKids in 2002 as a Social Worker with the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Program, Division of Paediatric Medicine. She is currently a Health Systems Research Scientist, with a clinical research portfolio concentrated in child maltreatment.
Azzopardi also holds an Assistant Professor Status-Only appointment at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto, where she teaches social work practice courses to graduate students.
Research
Azzopardi's program of research examines intersecting dimensions of child maltreatment and trauma-informed paediatric health care using mixed methods of inquiry.
