
Rhandi Christensen
Biography
Dr. Rhandi Christensen is a Staff Paediatric Neurologist at SickKids and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She completed medical school at the University of Toronto, where she also completed her Paediatric Neurology Residency and her Clinical and Research Fellowship in Neonatal Neurology at SickKids. Prior to her medical training, she completed a PhD in Neuroscience from McMaster University. At SickKids, Dr. Christensen has a General Neurology, Neonatal Neurology and Fetal Neurology Clinic.
Research
Dr. Christensen’s research focuses on studying biological predictors of neurodevelopmental outcomes in children born preterm or with neonatal brain injury. She seeks to integrate genetic and epigenetic risk factors with established clinical and environmental predictors to provide individualized neuroprognostication and targeted clinical care for these infants.
