Seth Gray

Dr. Gray received his Doctor of Medicine training at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He then went on to complete a Paediatric Residency and Paediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Afterwards, he moved to Toronto to complete a Paediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), during which he was the recipient of the Simon Abrahamson Award for outstanding academic achievement and performance in critical care.

He is a member of the Single Ventricle Team, the Critical Care Unit Cardiopulmonary Arrest Review Committee and serves on the hospital Resuscitation Oversight Committee.

His academic interests focus on the study of human factors, healthcare design and architecture, and quality improvement science to better understand the relationship between human factors, team performance, and the built environment on outcomes of critically ill children.

SIGNS (Severe Illness Getting Noticed Sooner) for Kids
Development of a tool for caregivers and healthcare professions to recognize escalating illness in a child and seek appropriate care immediately. Developed by a national panel of experts from pediatric specialties and neonatology.
