Lori Palozzi

Nurse Practitioner, Transitional Pain Service

Lori Palozzi is a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner at the Transitional Pain Service at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and in the Get Up and Go Persistent Pediatric Pain Service at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.

Lori has over 30 years of experience in paediatric pain management, including Acute Pain Service, and most recently in an intensive inpatient pain program caring for children with complex chronic pain and pain related disability. Lori provides leadership with coordination of care from intake to discharge, as well as collaborates with the interprofessional team on program development, team building and program evaluation.

Lori has experience with interprofessional pain education, international outreach and education, capacity building of nursing and interdisciplinary pain champions, quality management and pain clinical practice guideline development. She is passionate about improving pain.
