Michelle Quinlan
Biography
Michelle is motivated by her lived experience with her youngest daughter, Avery, when her daughter was diaginosed with Coffin Siris Syndrome (ARID-1B) through genetic testing which helped to inform her medical and therapeutic journey. Michelle deeply values the lived experience community and actively draws on these connections in her role as a parent of a child with a rare condition. She was the inaugural lead of patient engagement in research at CHEO and has experience layering patient engagement into hundreds of research projects.
