Biography
Kate Aldred is the Senior Policy Advisor at the Child Health Accelerator Policy at SickKids. She has a broad range of policy and advisory experience in the fields of higher education and research, Indigenous relations, gender-based violence and social policy from positions in the BC Public Service, University of Melbourne and Victorian Public Service (Australia). With a longstanding interest in health policy, Kate is delighted to contribute her policy and advocacy skills to the Accelerator’s mission of optimizing child and youth well-being through evidence-based policy change. Originally from Melbourne, Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Monash University and a Master of Education Policy from the University of Melbourne.
