Bonnie Fleming-Carroll

Bonnie Fleming-Carroll is the Associate Chief of Nursing & Interprofessional Education at SickKids and an adjunct lecturer at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto. With over 35 years in nursing, including two decades in strategic and operational leadership in healthcare education, Bonnie has made significant contributions to paediatric nursing in Canada. She led the development of the Canadian Paediatric Nursing Standards and partnered with the Canadian Nurses Association to create the country’s first paediatric nursing certification exam. In 2021, she was inducted as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Nursing. Bonnie is deeply committed to building capacity in individuals, organizations, and systems to improve children’s health.
