What to Expect During Your Visit
Although we try to see our patients in a timely manner, please expect that your cardiac tests and visit to our clinic will take several hours. Patients and families can expect to meet a variety of friendly health-care professionals and administrative staff to direct and answer questions throughout their visit. Depending on the nature of the visit, you may expect to meet: administrative staff, medical technicians, clinical nurses, nurse practitioners, dietitians, social workers, physiotherapists, consulting services, and our team of cardiologists, just to name a few.
Patients may be required to complete a series of tests based upon the nature of their clinical visit. For example: an ECG, echocardiogram, 24hr or 48hr Holter monitor, stress test, pulmonary function test, telephone transmitter monitor etc. Our professional staff and technicians will work with you between your tests and clinic visit.
Quality patient care is our top priority. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, as we remain committed to supporting you as a patient and family member.
