About the Clinic
The Toronto Lung Transplant Program is a combined adult and paediatric program with adult transplants being done at University Health Network – Toronto General site and paediatric transplants being done at SickKids. The program was initiated in 1983 with paediatric lung transplantation beginning in 1995.
The Lung Transplant team at SickKids is a group of highly skilled professionals who work together to help patients have a successful transplant and recovery. The Lung Transplant Program is part of the Transplant & Regenerative Medicine Centre.
The Lung Transplant Clinic offers pre-evaluations and post-operative medical management for lung transplantation in children.
Patients must be referred by a Physician or Surgeon.
