$1.8 million across six projects awarded to advance data sharing and innovative therapies

Six innovative projects have been awarded a total of $1.8 million over two years of the Precision Child Health Partnership (PCHP) Catalyst Program – an initiative born from the collaboration between SickKids and CHU Sainte-Justine to support research with the potential to revolutionize the development and discovery of novel approaches to Precision Child Health.
This third cycle of the program welcomed unique applications for projects that focus on innovative therapeutic interventions and projects that facilitate large-scale cross-institutional data sharing.

- Drs. Darren S. Kadis (SickKids) and Sarah Lippé (CHU Sainte-Justine): Precision Medicine for NDDs: Tracking and Predicting Individual Treatment Response Through Expanded Electrophysiological and Neuroimaging Biomarkers and Consolidated Database
- Drs. Brett Trost (SickKids) and Clara Moreau (CHU Sainte-Justine): Comprehensive phenotyping for precision care in anorexia nervosa
- Drs. Anthony Pak-Yin Liu (SickKids) and Sébastien Perreault (CHU Sainte-Justine): Cerebrospinal fluid-based Liquid biopsy Approaches for Real-time Integrated analysis in brain Tumors of the Young (CLARITY)
- Drs. Alejandro Floh (SickKids) and Guillaume Emeriaud (CHU Sainte-Justine): Precision Blood Pressure Management After Pediatric Cardiac Surgery
The PCHP Catalyst program provides up to $300,000 per project, with each project requiring a principal applicant from SickKids and CHU Sainte-Justine. Congratulations to the successful applicants!
