Jack Brzezinski

Dr. Jack Brzezinski attended medical school at the University of Toronto (U of T). He completed a residency in Paediatrics followed by a Fellowship in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology at SickKids and the U of T. He completed a PhD in Molecular Genetics at the end of his clinical training. Dr. Brzezinski now works as a Clinician-Scientist with a clinical expertise in paediatric solid tumors and paediatric renal tumors.

Research

Dr. Brzezinski’s research seeks to describe the genetic and epigenetic etiologies underlying clinical heterogeneity in Wilms tumors, which will lead to the discovery of biomarkers predictive of clinical behaviour in Wilms tumors. Brzezinski is also involved in planning multinational renal tumor trials through the Childrens’ Oncology Group.
