Dr. Sam (Min Suk) Han joined the Division of General Surgery as a paediatric surgical fellow in 2023 and became a faculty member in October 2025, with an appointment as an assistant professor at the University of Toronto. Prior to SickKids, Dr. Han spent several years at Boston Children’s Hospital, focusing on research and training in paediatric intestinal failure from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, Dr. Han has become an active member of the Group for the Improvement of Intestinal Function and Treatment (GIFT), where he now serves as surgical director. His leadership and enthusiasm are helping to drive meaningful improvements in the treatment and management of intestinal function.
