Biography

Dr Alisha Jabar holds a unique position in the Pediatric Emergency department as a nocturnist, providing overnight coverage within the emergency. On a nightly, basis, she provides teaching to trainees which is incorporated with patient care. She keeps up to date with trauma care as well as collaborating with other services to help provide sedation or other procedures in the emergency setting. She is involved with transferring patients to community hospitals and taking en routes calls to help provide patient care across Ontario. She enjoys the challenges that working at night provides.
