Biography

Dr. Sari Kives joined the Section of Paediatric Gynaecology in 2003 after completing two fellowships at University of Louisville School of Medicine in Paediatric & Adolescent Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery. She also completed a clinical fellowship at Queen’s University in Contraception Advice, Research and Education.

Kives received her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of British Columbia. She is currently Staff and Postgraduate Resident Student Coordinator and Fellowship Director in the Section of Paediatric Gynaecology at SickKids, and Staff and Head of Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Michael’s Hospital. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto.

Research

Kives conducts clinical research in a variety of areas in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology including ovarian pathology, Mullerian anomalies, and contraception.
