Biography

Rugambwa Michael Muhame joined the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in 2024. Before joining SickKids, he was a Staff Specialist at The Children's Hospital at Westmead in Sydney, Australia.

Research

Dr. Muhame's academic interests include the responsible integration of computational and AI methods into clinical workflows and model design for children with heart disease, neonatal cardiac critical care and cardiac point of care ultrasound.
