Biography
Dr. Adam Yan is a Staff Oncologist and the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer (Academic Paediatrics) at SickKids and an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Yan completed his Paediatric Haematology/Oncology at SickKids & The University of Toronto, his Clinical Informatics Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital & Harvard Medical School and his Master of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Yan is one of the few Canadian physicians with accredited training in Clinical Informatics. Dr. Yan's combined training in Paediatrics and Clinical Informatics uniquely position him to lead digital health transformation for paediatric patients and providers. In Dr. Yan's role as the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer (Academic Paediatrics) he is working to create a vibrant community of practice in Clinical Informatics at SickKids.
