Biography

Dr. Nicolette Caccia joined the section of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology in 1997 after completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto. She received her Medical Degree in 1992 from the University of Toronto. Caccia further pursued her education with a Masters of Higher Education, Theory and Policy Studies at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education. She is currently the Adolescent Medicine Fellows Elective Supervisor at SickKids, and is on Staff at SickKids and Humber River Regional Hospital.  

Research

Over the last decade, Dr. Caccia has focused on educational research. She strongly believes that research is essential to inform practice and engage in scholarly projectsformal research, quality improvement, and resource stewardship are a natural outcome of a reflective practice that focuses on patient care and is mindful of outcomes.
